The first steps in marketing your property is to enter into what is generally known as the LISTING OR MANDATE. It commits you to a pre-established marketing fee that is to be paid upon the successful closing of the sale. Service taxes are applied on the retribution. The Mandate is accompanied by a new form designed to identify the seller(s). This form is called Transition Period and is provided for information purposes due to the impact it can have on the obligations of a broker or an agency, or on the rights of their clients. It does not form part of the brokerage contract.

Sign: After the mandate is signed, a sign is placed on your property, the sign of excellence, trust and integrity.

MLS: The listing is processed. I provide my own photos to the Montreal Real Estate Board for use on the site. The listing also appears on the Quebec provincial site where you will find additional information like neighbourhood, distance to transportation, shopping, etc., and a lot of real estate details for consumers’ information.
